LPN to RN Programs Nashville, TN

There’s no slowing down in the demand for professional nurses to care for patients in acute and long-term care facilities. If you’re already practicing as a licensed practical nurse and considering your career options, the LPN to RN program will help you to take your nursing care to the next level. Registered nurses have a definite advantage as it relates to career opportunities in hospitals and clinics, as many employers expect their staff to have a registered nursing degree. The scope of practice for registered nurses may be wider than that of the licensed practical nurse. The LPN to RN transition program will cover the additional techniques and abilities required for your new role as a registered nurse. There will be an emphasis on the nurse as a leader, communicator, advocate, researcher, and critical thinker. You will also understand the benefit of continuous learning to improve your practice to ensure patient satisfaction. As a LPN with some measure of experience, you’re already on the path to becoming a registered nurse. You’ll complete the requirements in just half the time it will take a new nursing student to complete the registered nursing program. With the transfer of credits, you can complete the transition program and become a registered nurse in 18 months or less.
