The Career Mobility – Associate Degree Nursing program offered by Jefferson Community College is designed for licensed practical nurses to complete the educational requirements to become a registered nurse. Sullivan University

The Practical Nursing to ASN program at Sullivan University prepares licensed practical nurses for licensure and practice as a registered nurse. The bridge program has all the components of the traditional RN program but gives LPNs the option to opt out of some courses based on prior learning and experience. LPN candidates will complete a transition program as part of the degree requirements. The school features two high-fidelity simulation labs to provide students with the opportunity to complete simulation experiences for various acute care scenarios including choking or allergic reactions and birthing. Students will receive immediate feedback from professors to build their skills and competencies. Midway University

Licensed practical nurses may apply for advanced placement in the Associate Degree Nursing program at Midway University. The curriculum incorporates both classroom and clinical instruction. Students will participate in supervised clinical experiences in the lab lab and in several health care facilities in Kentucky. All nursing courses must be taken in sequence and a minimum grade of C is required before progression to the next course in the sequence. Students will be subject to nationally normed assessments throughout the program. These assessments are designed to supplement course work and improved chances for success on the NCLEX-RN. Graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN to practice as a Registered Nurse. They may also choose to enroll in a BSN program through the RN-to-BSN bridge also offered by Midway University.
